Our Services
At Sylvia's House Inc . , we provide comprehensive support services aimed at empowering homeless individuals and helping them regain stability. Our services include emergency shelter, case management, and access to vital resources such as healthcare, employment assistance, and mental health support. We collaborate with community organizations to offer specialized programs, including counseling, job training, and legal assistance. We aim to foster an environment of dignity, respect, and compassion, ensuring each individual receives the care and tools necessary to rebuild their lives.
Our Impact
Last winter, we significantly impacted the local community by providing critical support to approximately 1,500 homeless individuals. Through our dedicated efforts, we offered a safe haven from the harsh winter conditions, ensuring that those in need had access to shelter, warmth, and essential services. In addition, we distributed nearly 10,000 meals to individuals in need across WNY. These meals not only nourished the body but also provided a sense of hope and dignity to those facing hunger. The collective impact of these efforts extended beyond just meeting basic needs—it strengthened our community by fostering compassion, reducing the strain on local resources, and inspiring others to join in the mission of helping the most vulnerable.
