• Board chair - Also known as the president, this role oversees the board and all meetings, and is often the main point of contact for the executive director. 
• Vice president - Also known as the vice chair, this is another officer position on the board. 
• Secretary - This role is primarily administrative, but the secretary can also become chair like any other board member. 
• Treasurer - This role is responsible for the nonprofit's finances, and requires knowledge of how to manage money responsibly. 
• Executive director - This role is also an employee of the nonprofit, and is sometimes referred to as the CEO.
